Ginger Cake alla Mum

Warm, fragrant and perfectly spiced, this ginger cake is soft, moist and gently rich, with deep notes of brown sugar and a subtle kick of ginger — comforting, nostalgic and impossible to resist.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gr Butter
  • 200 gr Brown Sugar
  • 200 gr Floor
  • 200 gr Wet Ginger
  • 1 tb Ginger Marmalade
  • 4 Eggs

Instructions
 

  • Separate the eggs put egg white in fridge.
  • Chop ginger as fine as you wish.
  • Butter a baking dish and crumb with breadcrumbs.
  • Mix butter and brown sugar, keep mixing till smooth, add one joke at the time and mix, add strained floor bid by bid. Work the chopped ginger and marmalade through the mixture.
  • Wish the egg white and mix through the ginger mix.
  • Dump in the crumbed baking dish, sprinkle some breadcrumbs over the top and place for 1.25 till 1.75 hours in preheated oven 170C till cooked and light brown on the top
